Beginning with the 1998 data, site numbers end with an S (shallow), M (middle), or D (deep) to indicate sampling depth. The depth in meters can be retrieved too. The Alternate Designation column lists other site codes that correspond to the same location.
The sites are listed by survey group and correspond to maps available from the MMSD Historical Data main page. An alphabetic list of site numbers is also provided.
